About Us
The Public Participation Network, Cork City is a membership-based network of over 200 community & voluntary, social inclusion and environmental groups who work together to give a stronger voice to their experience at Cork City Council level.
The Public Participation Network (PPN) Cork City is a publicly-funded network of volunteer-run, not-for-profit groups. We help community groups to have a greater say in how the city is run. We provide training and policy development opportunities for our member groups, act as an information and networking hub, and facilitate the election of community representatives onto decision-making committees in Cork City Council and beyond.

Members Directory
Volunteer-led groups and organisations are the backbone of our communities and make a huge contribution to society, the economy and the environment. These groups range in size and interest: from large sports groups to small choirs and resident’s associations. Some have a national reach and a network of local branches, while others are mainly concerned with their community and stay local. Big or small, all have an important role to play.
This directory links you to information about active volunteer-led groups that are registered members of the Cork City Public Participation Network in your area or the wider city.
