Deadline Public Submission: Friday 13 September, 17:00
Each local authority in Ireland must adopt a Climate Change Adaptation Strategy under The Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act 2015 and the National Adaptation Framework (NAF), 2018. The strategy sets out the risks that climate change will pose to Cork City along with key goals, and actions that the City Council seeks to implement for Cork City to adapt to climate change.
The public are invited to make written submissions/ observations in respect of the Draft Strategy and the accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening Reports. Contributions can be as brief or detailed as you like, there’s no required format or official guidelines. The Council is equally happy to hear positive feedback and criticisms or suggestions for changes.
