Substance Use Issues & Community Work Course 2020/21 (QQI Level 5) – Applications Open Until 26 August 2020
This part time evening course is delivered in conjunction with the Cork College of Commerce is designed to promote good practice among those who work (paid / voluntary positions with young people and in various capacities across communities. It provides a critical perspective on some of the issues including community development and drug / alcohol issues which can affect young people and communities and encourages the development of coherent responses at individual and organisational level.

Cork City Council Announces New City Centre Parking Offer From Monday 29 June 2020
Cork City Council has announced motorists can avail of two hours free parking at North Main Street and Paul St multi-storey car parks, where there are over 900 parking spaces between both sites. This offer runs from Monday 29 June 2020 to Monday 31 August 2020.
Consultation on City Development Plan Now Open
The public is invited to read the ‘Our City – Our Future’ issues paper which is available at www.corkcitydevelopmentplan.ie, at Cork City libraries and by appointment at the Planning Counter at Cork City Hall. A submission on the plan can be made as part of this initial public consultation from today, June 26 until August 21 2020.
