Overview

We are a local volunteer led scout group based in Ballyphehane/Turners Cross area catering for young people ages between 6 years to 26 years. We meet every week all year round and also provide weekend activities, weekend camping and week-long camping trips. The aim of scouting is to develop young people Socially, Physically, Intellectually, Character, Emotionally and Spiritually. These elements are called the SPICES and are deeply integrated into the programme experience via the Scout Method, Personal Progression Awards and Programme designed by young people. We provide non-formal education through learning of the scout skills such as camping, hiking, backwoods, pioneering and many more.
