Overview

L'Arche Cork offer residential and day project services to individuals with a disability. There are 5 residential houses across Cork City and a Day project service called 'Le Cheile' located in Togher Cork city. Le Cheile is accessed by 25 core members ranging in age from 30-75 years. The Core members who access Le Cheile have varying identified support needs and diagnoses. Individual diagnoses include Intellectual disability, learning disability, ASD, Autism, mental health support needs, and physical and sensory disabilities. Le Cheile offers a variety of programmes as part of the service plan and is working on encompassing New Directions the HSE Standards on Day services for people with a disability. Programmes include Art, yoga, Cookery skills and IT. Each Core member has an individual Person Centred Plan.
