Overview

We are an active and vibrant association that represents the permanent residents of this areal. We first came together just over two years ago with the objective of improving the public realm of the entire neighbourhood. Despite that over 22,000 students reside or pass through the area on a daily basis, there is also a significant number of residents living in the area with a mix of elderly and young families. Our aim is to encourage more young couples and families to reside in the area by improving the public ream of the area. Traffic control/volumes, lack of parking for residents, litter control inc street cleaning, antisocial behaviour, planning and landlord issues are all major issues for our association. We continually lobby and engage with Cork City Council and UCC to assist us and there has been a very positive response from both parties to date.
