Overview

Sundays Well Rugby Football Club is a community based sports club based in Cork City since 1906. We have been based in Ballyphehane since the 1940s and currently provide rugby playing and training facilities to over 200 male and female players. We field 3 adult teams and mini/youth rugby teams in the U7 to U18 age categories. We were also the first club in Ireland to offer a Mixed Ability based rugby team, the Rebels, who offer coaching and playing opportunities to adults with both physical and intellectual difficulties. The Rebels continue to grow in strength and last year (2022) hosted the International Mixed Ability Rugby Tournament (IMART) bringing over 25,000 supporters and players to Cork for this most unique of events. The Rebels won this event for the second time.
