Many thanks to those who contributed to our consultation response, whether by completing our online survey or by attending our plenary on April 6th and participating in discussion groups.

Using the opinions and inputs gathered during the process, a network response was collated and submitted to the Office of Public Works this week. The response is attached below for your perusal.

In the course of carrying out this piece of work, the opportunity arose to speak with representatives of the OPW about important contributions PPN s can make to the development and implementation of major infrastructure and flood management schemes like this one. Cork City PPN have expressed an interest in continuing this conversation in the hope that consultations with the community can, in the future be meaningful and productive for both the OPW and the third sector.
