Cork City PPN is in the early days of building a profile of the third sector in Cork City-learning who makes up the community and voluntary, environmental and social inclusion movements, what facilities and resources they have and getting to the bottom of what their priorities and needs are.

Cork has a proud tradition of community and voluntary work, and the city draws strength and resilience from this, we recognise this and want to maximise our support!

On top of this, our membership is growing every week, and we want to know how this network should proceed to best effect in the coming months.

To this end, we have teamed up with Shared Insight to carry out some Community Participation research. We will build a more complete understanding of our membership and use this to plan our next steps. This work will also complement the next Cork City Profile.
