Cork’s Transport and Mobility Forum is made up of stakeholders from across the city, and from all sectors, who are concerned with the development of safe and accessible transport and mobility solutions for Cork City . Many Cork City PPN members are forum partners, including Cork Environmental Forum and Cork Cycling Campaign.
The Forum today released this great video encouraging Corkonians to reconsider their travel and transport options in the city centre-check the video out here!
From August, Cork City Council hope to reintroduce the restrictions on vehicular access to Patrick Street between 3 and 6:30pm every day, as part of the City Centre Movement Strategy. As many might be aware, the initial introduction of these restrictions in March encountered some difficulty , but with improved communication and more careful consideration of our alternatives, this move could really put Cork at the vanguard of making our city centre a safer, cleaner and more accessible one for all.
Let us know what you think of this video and the proposed changes!
