Are you a woman running for election in 2020?
The sessions are for any women interested in running for election – for the Dail, Seanad or Local council. The aim is to increase the number and diversity of women candidates in the next election.
Women for Election’s flagship INSPIRE programme is a one-day programme that aims to introduce women, interested in a career in politics, to the realities of political life in Ireland. This course is perfect for women who are curious about their leadership potential or women who are already keen to kickstart their political journey. Elected TDs, senators, and councillors have taken part in INSPIRE training as have more women who became Campaign Managers.Throughout the day the focus on the three Cs: campaigns; Communications; Confidence.
Experienced experts will demystify politics and show you how ‘getting in’ is something you can accomplish. You will leave the event with the tools and direction to take your next step on your political journey.
